Group Programs

At ODTS, we are proud to offer a diverse range of programs to support clients with a range of needs.

Our 2025 group programs include:

DBT 4 Teens – a 12-session Dialectical Behaviour Therapy skills group for young people aged 13-17 years old. Skills groups are structured group sessions that focus on teaching essential DBT skills. These skills are divided into four modules:

  1. Distress Tolerance: Developing strategies to tolerate difficult situations without resorting to harmful behaviours
  2. Emotion Regulation: Understanding and managing intense emotions effectively
  3. Interpersonal Effectiveness: Building communication skills and maintaining healthy relationships with others
  4. Mindfulness: Learning to stay in the present moment and become more aware of thoughts and feelings.

DBT 4 Teens runs on Monday afternoons from 4pm to 5:30pm in school terms (including on Staff Development Days but excluding public holidays) at the Edgeworth Memorial Neighbourhood Centre from Monday 17 March, 2025. For more information about DBT 4 Teens, see the Frequently Asked Questions.
